The Chocolate tree Homemade Candies famous since 1980. Beaufort South Carolina 2019

Went to the Beaufort chocolate shop today with my mom we are moving and I have not got to go yet so today she took me there for the first time.

It is a delightful store there are gifts and lot of candy and chocolate as well as many other wonderful treats and toys.

I got a giant reeses cup and a coffee cream truffle all handmade and super tasty.

All There chocolate treats are freshly made as the chocolate tree How cool is that.

A little fun fact about the chocolate tree is that the box of chocolate the Forrest gump is holding in the move are from the Beaufort chocolate tree how cool is that. I am sure they where surprised  to see Tom Hank in there shop.

I love the movie Forrest Gump my mom says that I am a lot like Forrest Gump because I like to talk and eat chocolate. I would love to talk and meet Tom Hank in real life I have so many questions to ask him and I am sure he has lot of story's to share too.

The chocolate shop smells so good inside and it will but a smile on your face when you walk in.

I really enjoyed living here in Beaufort South Carolina not just for the beautiful weather  But because of the History and I love learning the Tom Hanks was here when he was filming Forrest Gump.

Tom hanks Forrest Gump Ran downtown Beaufort for the movie and My friend's house was also used in the movie as we as the chocolate shop.

Favorite Quote from Forrest Gump.

My mama always said, ‘Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.'”-Forrest

Q1. Tell us about yourself. What are your favorite books to read?
A. I’m a SAHM and wife. I love to watch horror movies especially if it’s based on a Stephen King book. I am a huge fan of two phenomenal female authors, Kimberla Lawson Roby & Victoria Christopher Murry. They both write African American fiction. Their novels are so inspirational.
Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from?
A. Wow, I remember falling in love with writing in school. Being given an assignment that allowed me to create my own story was an incredible feeling. I would spend a lot of times in my room as a kid writing fun comic strips. But the day I made the profound decision to write a book. Was when I was in middle school and a classmate had a notebook with her own fiction story. I read it and thought to myself. Hmmm, I would write one better.

Q3. How did you come up with the name of your books?
A.  A lot of brainstorming and researching to make sure the title isn’t a…
