A. I am a Christian, a wife, and a mother of 1 2019 senior.  I am very active in church and help care for my mother who has Alzheimer's.  I always have a smile and look for the positive in everything.  I used to just like romance novels (clean) but I've found myself drawn to shapeshifters recently.  I like inspirational books as well. Book review: Made Like Martha By Lisa-JO Baker

Book review:  Made Like Martha By Lisa-JO Baker  I really like this Book It mad me really think about how to stop in my busy life and spend more time with God. This is a great Christian Book and Very Inspirational.  The Author did a wonderful Job teaching us about Martha in the bible. I would recommend this Book to anyone and it would be a great bible study book to us in a bible study group at church. What I learned from this book is to spend more time with God and stop making my life so busy the I push God aside. As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!" "Martha, Martha," the

Interviewing Author Theresa Maue

Interviewing  Author Theresa Maue Proposed Blog Post from Terri Maue I’ve been in love with reading and writing all my life.  I have never gotten over the magic that happens when I decode little black marks on a piece of paper and am transported to another world.  I started writing when I was six or seven, inflicting my ‘poems’ on my parents and grandparents, who dutifully applauded and encouraged me.   I write mysteries.  I’m sure I got my fascination with the genre from my dad, who loved Ellery Queen and Sherlock Holmes and others.  Mysteries are still my favorite genre, although I also enjoy historical fiction, the occasional biography, and poetry.   I wanted to write a book when I was a teenager.  I wrote a few stories in my 20s and 30s, but parenthood and the need to make a living absorbed most of my time and energy.  In my late 40s, I decided to go to graduate school and study writing.  I hold a doctorate now, in English with a specialty in creative writin

Though born with Cerebral Palsy, I’ve never allowed my disability to define me. My debut novel, Husband in Hiding, was released in 2015 and my latest, Forgetting My Way Back to You, came out last October.  I may only be able to type with one hand, but I write with my whole heart!  I enjoy reading love stories and mysteries Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from? A. My mom took me to an author’s visit to our local library when I was nine and hearing her talk about her career just sparked something in me. Plus, I always excelled in language arts. Q3. How did you come up with the titles of your books? A. Husband in Hi

She offered to read anything I had and so I hastily put together three chapters of a book that I hadn’t even really thought of before then! Her husband had just started a publishing company and loved them! So in March 2014 then hastily put together idea became my debut book, and book one of three in my first series!
