Q1. Tell us about yourself. What are your favorite books to read?
A.  I write romantic suspense books and live on Lake Murray in beautiful South Carolina with my retired Navy husband, who is my go-to for colorful slang and guy talk. I have two grown children who live in Maine and San Diego. I like to write heroines who are relatable, everyday people with spunk and wit. Their only superpower is fierce independence. I’m an animal lover, and each of my three books has a dog in them. A tribute to the golden retriever that stole my heart for thirteen years and warmed my feet when I wrote on chilly mornings. My favorite books to read are romantic suspense and contemporary. I read many authors but love Jill Shalvis, Catherine Coulter, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and Linda Howard.

Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from?
A.  As a child, I loved to read, (Nancy Drew, Laura Ingalls Wilder books, and Little Women) and I wrote every night without fail in my diar…

Melissa Sercia interview

Melissa Sercia interview
Q1. Tell us about yourself. What are your favorite books to read?

A. Hi, my name is Melissa Sercia and I’m a fantasy author. My latest series is a dark, urban fantasy called Blood and Darkness, published by City Owl Press. When I’m not writing, I’m thinking about writing or reading. My book collection is extensive and my TBR list is out of control. My oldest and most cherished books are Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I read it when I was 16 years old, and it made me want to become a writer. Currently, I’m enjoying reading Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin and The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.

Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from?
A.  The inspiration to write stems from a love of storytelling, a fascination with escapism and daydreams, and the quest for immortality. Stories live forever. They move and inspire people. I’ve always wanted to transport readers to fantastic and magical places through my stories, just as many authors have don…

Went to see the new Aladdin the movies 2019

Went to go see the new movie Aladdin with my two beautiful sisters. The movie was awesome We loved it. It gave me goosebumps because it was so good they did an awesome job picking the actors and actresses in the show.
We got popcorn and drinks. I got the snack box it is a cute little snack pack for kids and adults too like me, you get popcorn and a drink the theme was the secret life of pets too, so you can keep the cup that comes with it, they give you this cute little toy you put in the middle of the cup it is just too cute and for a very low price.
The movie theater we went to today has recliner seats and are also heated seats as well. In the hallway of the movie theater, they have a photo area where you can stand and pose by a shark mouth. I had a lot of fun with my mom and sisters day.
If you have not seen the new Aladin movie yet. Go see it you will not be disappointed it made me and my sisters laugh and it is so good you kids will love it…

Interviewing Author Carol OpalinskiQ1. Tell us about yourself. What are your favorite books to read?
A. I grew up in New England but traded snow for central AC when we moved to the Deep South for my husband’s work 22 years ago. I love to travel, am addicted to British crime dramas and I have a Seinfeld quote appropriate for almost any occasion. I’ve been married for 44 year—to the same man! We have two grown sons and two spoiled cats.  I love reading romance because of the happy endings. I also enjoy reading mystery/suspense.
Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from?
A. From everywhere! I love reading those quirky feel-good stories like high school sweethearts reunited after 50 years or the about the funeral of a school teacher where the church was filled not with flowers but backpacks full of school supplies for underprivileged children.
Q3. How did you come up with the titles of your books?
A. I’ve only actually titled one of my books. I should say, I was allowed to keep the ti…
