I didn’t go in with the mindset, “I’m going to write a book,” but a situation happened with my daughter at the time and I was upset, hurt, shock and couldn’t sleep.  My daughter who was 6 at the time wanted to play on some tire at her school. However, there were three students, a girl and two boys who wouldn’t allow her to play on it. A.  Many years after retirement, I began to type a few thoughts of a ‘scene’ floating around my head. From time to time, I’d add to it. From those thoughts, a real story began to evolve and I finally said to my husband, “I believe I could write a novel from these thoughts,” and he said, “well, do it.” It was only then, mid-2016, that I began to try to put thoughts into order, search out writing classes and online help.
