interviewing author Myron Campbell  Q1.when did you decide you were going to write a book? A. I decided after a couple of nights of telling these stories to my sons before bed. My wife overheard me talking to them and suggested I record myself so after talking for 15 minutes past their bedtime one night. It turned into the first 3 or 4 pages of my first book.  Q.2 how did you come up with the name of your books  A. The Adventures of Melvin Walker came about funny actually. He started out as a monkey in the zoo. However, I felt it wasn’t right to try and compete with Curious George. So I based Melvin off of me growing up in NYC and my sons growing up here in VA.  Q. 3 what are you working on now for 20 18? A. I just finished book #3 Melvin Learns How To Code. It’s all about the STEM. This one will be out later this Fall. After that, I’ll be working on a pilot episode for the animated series.  Q 4. how long have you been writing? A.: I’ve b
