Q1. when did you decide you were going to write a book?
A. I decided to write a book back in 2014.  I had been writing a children’s blog that taught kids about solar energy.  I thought it would make a nice children’s book. Q.2 how did you come up with the name of your books 
A. I named the book after the main characters in the book.  Q. 3 what are you working on now for 20​18?​
A. My second book has been with the illustrator for a little longer than we planned but it should be finished soon.  It is a continuing story of the Sun Rays and their friends as they go to another country and meet new friends.I also saw a painting in my Facebook painting group of a snowman reading to a Reindeer.  It was so good that I asked the artist if she illustrated children’s books.  She hadn’t but she was okay with me writing one for the picture.  She liked the story so much that we plan to publish it.  She is doing some more illustrations. Q1. Tell me about yourself what are your favorite books to read?
A. I’m an avid reader…ever since I was a small child. I was always asking my parents to read to me and learned how to read by 5 yrs old...this was back in 1956…I was almost a child prodigy!! I love self-help books, Christian romance books, general fiction (my favorite authors are Elin Hilderbrand, Kristin Hannah, and Jeffrey Archer). I will pretty much-read anything. I often wonder ‘what do people who don’t read do in their spare time’? Still pondering that…

A. Nobody was more surprised than me when writing a book came to my mind! It all started with a pink stress ball flying pig
