Interviewing Deb Gorman, Author Q1. Tell me about yourself. A. I live in the PNW and have all my life. In fact, I live in my hometown. The only time I've lived anywhere else was when I lived in the LA area for approximately 8 years. Went to college, married the first time, and started a family. Moved back home in 1980, just in time for Mt. St. Helens to burp. Remarried in 1988. We live on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the town and surrounding foothills. Our German shepherd, Hoka, is our supervisor. You can see pictures of her on my website. Q2.What are your favorite books to read? A. I've loved reading a variety of genres, starting with Nancy Drew mysteries when I was eight, graduating to just about everything Agatha Christie wrote. I also love espionage, especially Jack Higgins and Joel Rosenberg. Presently, I'm devouring anything Charles Martin writes. I've also read James L. Rubart and Dan Walsh, Francine Rivers, James Scott Bell (both his superb craft books
