1. Tell me about yourself? Ken Farmer didn't write his first full novel until he was sixty-nine years of age. He often wonders what the hell took him so long. At age seventy-nine…he's currently working on novel number thirty-seven.                 Ken spent thirty years raising cattle and quarter horses in Texas and forty-five years as a professional actor (after a stint in the Marine Corps). Those years gave him a background for storytelling…or as he has been known to say, "I've always been a bit of a bull---t artist, so writing novels kind of came naturally once it occurred to me I could put my stories down on paper."  1.  My name is Joan Selig, I am 65, divorced, have 5 grown children and 10 grandchildren. How did you come up with the name of your book?  I try to pick titles that encompass the subject of the particular book. 1. Tell me about yourself? I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and now live with my husband and elementary-aged children- Wade, Ruby, and Olive in Carrot Creek, Alberta.  I am a Stay at Home Mom and am a substitute teacher at a local school this year.  2.What are your favorite books to read? I love reading non-fiction as hearing other people's stories always interests me.   3. When did you decide you were going to write a book? The idea for this book came to me one Sunday in May of 2019. I used the summer to write and create my illustrations and then spent the fall/ winter figuring out how to self-publish. 4. How did you come up with the name of your book? My husband and I were in the middle of adopting our daughter from Russia. The wait became torturous. One day, I came home from work and poured out my frustrations into my computer. It’s always been my heart’s desire is to be the author God has called me to be by sharing Him with readers in such a way they long to have a deeply committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord.  Fully intending to write Historical Romance—had in fact— I had no plans to deviate from that.
