What are your favorite books to read? I love memoirs. Do you like coffee or tea? I drink both. Coffee is a must in the mornings and I usually have tea in the evenings. How many books have you written? I’ve written 14 but have only published 1. Do you have a favorite bookstore? I love any place that sells books. When I was in high school and college I used to spend a lot of free time in Barnes and Noble. Now I prefer smaller independent bookstores. Did you go to college for writing? I went to the University of North Texas and studied child development. Growing up What were your favorite books to read? When I was little I loved all of the Eric Carle books. I loved when my teachers would have storytime with us. In second grade my teacher would read Where the Red Fern Grows. She’d read us a chapter a day. I read babysitters club as I got older.
