Interviewing Author Bernice Erehart Q1. Tell us about yourself. What are your favorite books to read? A. I was born in 1956 to Howard and Vincenza Mistretta, I have 5 sisters and 1 brother, and they each married and in turn have given me 22 nieces and nephews.  I grew up in Long Branch, New Jersey and although I have traveled and lived in different places, home is here on the Jersey Shore where I live a very quiet life with my 3 kitties Boo, Chipee, and Lucy. I enjoy reading many genres, among my favorite authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Janet Evanovich, Sophie Kinsella, JK Rowling (The Harry Potter Series) & J D Robb. Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from? A. When I was a senior in high school, I read Pet Semetary by Stephen King till 4:30 in the morning. Also that year my history teacher read A Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury and I wrote my first short story called Homer and the General. I knew then that one day I would write a book. ...
