This is cookbook author Smitha V I was so glad that I got to interview her. Q.1when did you decide you were going to write a book? A. I am a blogger since 2008. I have been wanting to publish a book for a while but didn't know how to go about it. The discovery of Amazon KDP opened up a lot of possibilities and I published my book in Feb'18. Q.2 how did you come up with the name of your books I wanted a unique name that describes me and the content of my book. This is children's author Roxanne Stephenson I got to interview her and I enjoy it.   Q1. when did you decide you were going to write a young adult book? A. I was inspired to begin writing children’s books when my eldest son was around three years old. He suddenly became scared of numerous things; storms, shadows and the dark. So I was inspired to write a book that empowered the reader with positive self-talk and the strength of God to ease common childhood fears. This book is simply titled, “I’m not scared!”  Q2.  how did you come up with the name of your books A. since my first published book, I am continually inspired by my two highly imaginative children. Q1. when did you decide you were going to write a book? A.  I decided to write a book when we were adopting my third child. My now-illustrator recommended I write a book that she would illustrate, and we could sell the book to raise money for the adoption! It didn't quite work out as an adoption fundraiser as we couldn't figure out how to publish it back then, but now we are published and sharing our story!=) Q2.  how did you come up with the name of your books  A.  I entered an essay contest to win an adoption grant, and the question to answer was, "If your child comes to you someday and asks, 'Why did you choose me,' what would you say? Here is Madek Uthurunku He lives in Hawaii.  He is a children's author and I got to interview him I am happy about that. Q 1. when did you decide you were going to write a young adult book? A. I decided to write a children’s book in May of 2017. Q 2. how did you come up with the name of your books  A. Coming up with the name of my book was not easy. I knew I wanted to make a kids book about surfing, I just didn’t know what my angle was going to be. I live on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. There are feral cats all over the beaches. It finally clicked that my book should be about these beach cats surfing different styles to teach kids. I thought it was fun irony because cats usually don’t like water.  Q 3. what are you working on now for 20 18? A. I published my book “Surf Cats” in November of 2017. This is Latoya McCray she is an author of many children's book and many other wonderful books. Q. 1 when did you decide you were going to write a  book? A.  Around 2010, I was reading Eric Jerome Dickey's book. It was like a movie. That motivated me to write my own books. Q.2 how did you come up with the name of your books . A. I came up with the names   of my books by how the characters are created. Plus, I know my audience and how they will react to my titles. Q. 3 what are you working on now for 20​18?​ A. Right now, I am working on a children's book, working on Sexy Salsa Nights Part 2 of my series, and working on a standalone novel called "R&B Swagged Out." Q 4. how long have you been writing? A.
