Interviewing Author Deb Hockenberry   Q1. Tell me about yourself? A. Hi! I’m Deb Hockenberry and I’ve been interested in and telling children’s stories since I was a kid. I come from a large family and live in Central Pennsylvania where I share an apartment with my cat, Harry. I love to write, of course. Besides that, I love to read, music, and crochet. I’m currently trying to learn to draw. Wish me luck on that! Q2.What are your favorite books to read? A. I really don’t have a favorite genre. I’m all over the map when it comes to reading! Of course, I like to read picture books. I also like all ages of children’s books as well as adult ’ s books. I’ve even been known to read biographies and reference books! Q3. When did you decide you were going to write a book? A. I knew that I wanted to be an author in the 1950s, when I was a child. I took a course in the 1990s to learn to do this properly, and in 2017 I published my debut book, ‘Where Can We Have The Party?’ Q4...
