Interviewing Author Collette Dahl Lorentzen

Interviewing Author Collette Dahl Lorentzen Q1.when did you decide you were going to write a book? A. I decided to write a book many years after I created a colored pencil drawing of a dog many years ago.  About 3 years ago, I quite by accident talked with a woman at the hospital I work at. She told me she had plans of writing a children's book and was looking for an illustrator.  Being a multi-media fine artist, I, of course, showed her samples of some of my work.  After showing her my drawing of the dog, Wilber, which I had named when I did the drawing, I thought, why was I not doing something myself.  I always wanted to use the drawing in a cartoon strip, but could never think of anything funny.  Making a children's book was the perfect answer for me. Q.2 how did you come up with the name of your books  A. I came up with the name of my books after thinking about what I was going to do with the drawing.  I decided that I wou...

Interviewing Author Lanna Foley Webb

Interviewing Author Lanna Foley Webb Q1. when did you decide you were going to write a book? A. I read a book by a popular Christian author and I hated the way it ended! I have always had stories running around in my head, so I decided to write a story that would satisfy my romantic sensibilities in a moment of some sort of rebellion against the ending of that book. Q.2 how did you come up with the name of your books  A. The name of the book is the name of one of the main characters, and it so well encapsulates the driving source of the conflict that it seemed more than more fitting. Q. 3 what are you working on now for 20 18? A. I am currently working on two projects. The first is the next in the series after Lonesome Wolf. I'm loving the character more than I thought possible! The second is a western in the style of Louis L'Amour. It is interesting to me because I usually run to romances. Q 4. how long have you been writing? ...
