Q.1 when did you decide you were going to write a book?

A. Bizarrely, I first decided to write stories after speaking to my work colleagues. I briefly mentioned that I made stories up for my son and it was suggested that I write them down so as not to forget them. From there I just kept on writing and now I have self-published six books.

Q.2 how did you come up with the name of your books

A.  Coming up with the name for my first book was easy really! They are short story compilations so that was the first part done, then the second part was just a catchy title surrounding the fact that all of the stories contained animals. "Short Stories For Kids: Amazing Animal Adventures" just seemed like the logical choice!

Q. 3 what are you working on now for 20 18?

A.  Thinking of new stories has taken a bit of a back - burner for now. This is mainly owed to the fact that I am having several translations completed, all of which need editing before they can be listed. I am still going, though, that in any spare time I get I might get a chance to write a few more.

Q 4. how long have you been writing?

A.  I have only been writing since October 2017 although really enjoy doing it. For me, this is more of a hobby than a job as my real job is supporting the family and playing with the kids!

Q 5. What advice would you give other authors?

A.  Never give up on anything! I always say that if somebody tells you that you "can't" do something then what they really mean is "I can't" so don't let anybody tell you NO!

Q 6.  where can people find you online?

A. Currently, my main presence is on Amazon although I am constantly striving to increase the sales platforms my books' are available on. I have also recently published eBooks on Kobo and am looking at Barnes & Noble (Nook) for paperbacks and hardbacks

Q7 do you plan on making more books in the future

A. Yes. I currently have several projects ongoing although I do intend to continue to release more titles as and when they are completed. After each compilation book, I like to write a longer single story for older children so, after I have decided on the subject, this should be available fairly soon.

Q 8 how many books have you written

A.  Three short story compilations - Short Stories For Kids: Amazing Animal Adventures, Short Stories For Kids: More Amazing Animal Adventures & Short Stories For Kids: Extra Amazing Animal Adventures. The three longer stories are Alex The Aspiring Astronaut: Amazing Adventure Through Space, Harry The Historian: Amazing Adventure Through Time & Noah The Nursery Newbie: Amazing Zombie Adventure.

Q 9 did you go to college to be a writer

A. No. Actually, I studied accounting at College and this is where my experience is so everything I do with regards my writing is a new experience. Its amazing fun and a great adventure in itself!
