Q1. Tell me about your self what are your favorite books to read?

A. I'm 22 (started writing in middle school, for fun), and I read mostly fantasy.

Q2.when did you decide you were going to write a book?

A. For fun, 8th grade. To investigate a career, somewhere in High school... Maybe Freshman year.

Q3. How did you come up with the name of your books?

A. My brain likes to come up with new words. In my main series, every book is named after each realm they visit. Zilferia is book 1, it's a name that just came to me

Q4.What are you working on for 2019?

A. I just finished a novella, and I'm planning on another one or two of those, with two more novels (books 3 & 4 in that main series) and some short stories. A lofty goal for me, but reachable.

Q5.How long have you been writing?

A.8-9 years, I suppose. Seriously, to sell, only one year

Q6. What advice would you give other authors?

A. make it a habit, don't compare yourself to others unless it inspires you, and join the 20Booksto50k Facebook group. Literally a lifesaver for authors. #1 resource if you're serious about it. 😊

Q7.where can people find you online?

A. Facebook, both the profile Author Katie Cherry and my page the Crystal Dragon series. Website www.thecrystaldragonseries.com and the same name for Instagram.

Q8.Do you plan on making more books in the future?

A.Definitely. I have a TON of ideas and don't think I'll ever run dry 😊

Q9.How many books have you written?

A.Two novels in the Crystal Dragon series, and one novella about to be published. I wrote another one, but it's never seeing the light of day until it gets a major rewrite (wrote it in 8th grade)

Q10.did you go to college to be a writer?

A.Yes and no. I've gone for about a year but dropped out for now. But I'll likely go back eventually to finish. It's not needed, but can be helpful.

I would like to say thank you to Author Katie Lorrigan Cherry for allowing me to interview her on my blog.
