A. The YA genre is my favorite to read. I love the adventure aspect of it. Whether the main character is engaged in daring sword fights or going through that phase of life that’s all about self-discovery. My favorite books to read are The Mortal Instruments and the Hunger Games series.

Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from?

A. This book began as a passion project. I wrote Vendetta about eight years ago in my spare time. As the story progressed, I decided to publish it

Q3. How did you come up with the titles of your books?

A. he book is about revenge and reclaiming what rightfully belongs to the main character. Vendetta was a perfect fit.

Q4. Anything you're currently working in 2019?

A.  I’m working on publishing my younger children’s books. I’m also in talks with Jaysun Loushin Films regarding making one of my stories a cartoon.

Q5. How long have you been writing?

A. I began writing short stories at the age of 12 and began writing poetry in high school.

Q6. What advice would you like to give to other authors?

A. Don’t give up. If you truly have a passion for writing pursue it.  You also need to have a thick skin. It’s very difficult to get a literary agent. One person’s no maybe someone else’s eyes.

Q7. Where can we connect with you online?

A. You can find me on Instagram and Twitter. Search for Stephanie Michaels. You can also find my photography there as well.

Q8. Do you plan on writing any more books in the future?

A. Yes, I’m planning on publishing my children’s book this year.

Q9.How many books have you written?

A. ’ve written about 10 so far. I’ve always got a pen in my hand.

Q10.Did you go to college to be a writer?

A. No. I actually went to college to become a teacher, which I am. I’ve always enjoyed reading and writing and wanted to pass that love on to the next generation.

Thank you,
