Q1. Tell us about yourself. What are your favorite books to read?

A. My name is Haley Malone and I’m 28 from a tiny town in northern Michigan not even on the map. My favorite books are Harry Potter, The Hobbit, and anything paranormal or romance. 

Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from? 

A. I decided when I was 12 that I had to write. I started with short stories, then at 17, I started my first novel. It was all downhill from there. 

Q3. How did you come up with the name of your books?

A. The name of my first book came from my friend that drew the cover design in high school. We were playing with names and chose Scarlett. My current book I just completed I’m still not positive I love the name Pricked. 

Q4. What are you working on for 2019? 


A. My goal is to finish the sequel to Pricked if not halfway through. I also have a romance in my head that’s itching to be born. 

Q5. How long have you been writing? 

A. I’ve been writing ever since 2nd grade! 

Q6. What advice would you give other authors? 

A. Do not let anyone tell you how to write a story. And don’t listen to haters! 

Q7. where can people find you online?

A. Right now my first book is on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. My second book has yet to be published. 

Q8. Do you plan on making more books in the future?

A. I absolutely plan on writing more books! It would be similar to cutting my arm off forcing me to stop. 

Q9. How many books have you written? 

A. I’ve started too many to count but have completed only two. 


Q10 did you go to college to be a writer?


A. I did not go to college at all, no.

Independent book review: Froggy Learns to Swim by Jonathan Landon and Illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz  The Froggy series has always been my favorite book ever since I was little too. My favorite book from the series is Froggy Bakes a Cake when my sisters and I were little we enjoyed reading this to our mom.  The Froggy book series is great for ages 2-4 years. This is a great book to add to your children's summer reading list. When I was a kindergarten teacher aide I enjoyed reading to the child This is a book that I would love  to read to them. The author did an amazing job on this book;  The illustrations in this book are so cute and exquisite.  This is a book I had on my bookshelf that love and thought I would do an independent review on it.
