Q1. Tell me about your self what are your favorite books to read?

A. I am an educator in Memphis, TN. I love to read all kinds of books but my favorite genre is a psychological thriller.


Q2.when did you decide you were going to write a book?

A. I decided I was going to write a book after seeing a graphic that showed in a 2018 study only 10% of characters in children's book were people of color. As a result, I sat down and birthed my book!

Q3. How did you come up with the name of your books?

A. The name of my book is special to me because it is based on my college at Alcorn State University.

Q4. What are you working on for 2020?

A. In 2020 I am working on two more books and a t-shirt line for little readers.



Q5. How long have you been writing?

A. I have been writing since the age of 8 but never published anything until now.


Q6. What advice would you give other authors? 

 A. If I could tell other authors anything it would be to network. There are many authors out there to work with and it is a great experience!

Q. 8. Do you plan on making more books in the future?

A. I definitely plan on making publishing more books in the future.


Q9. How many books have you written?

A. I have written two books. One is published and can be found on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. The second book is currently being published.

Q10 did you go to college to be a writer?

A.  I went to Alcorn State University and received my BA in English Literature. It was my experience there that made me feel like an authentic reader, writer, and leader.
