Interviewing Author  C.D.Ross

Q1. Tell me about your self what are your favorite books to read?

A. I am a Christian Fiction Author, Photographer, Wife, and Mother. All of which I love! My favorite books are also Christian Fiction, but I do like a good history book or a Biography too.

Q2.when did you decide you were going to write a book?

A. When I was fifteen I decided I wanted to be an author someday and I wrote the first draft of my first novel. I actually rewrote it three times before I decided it was finished when I was seventeen. I'm not sure why I waited to share it, but it wasn't until I married my husband, Wes, that I published it...with a lot of encouragement from him. I was still doubting myself quite a bit, but he told me that it had to be published and to go for it. I will forever be grateful to him for pushing me to reach my dreams.

Q3. How did you come up with the name of your books?

A. Most of the time the title is inspired by the contents of the book I'm writing, other times I come up with what I feel is a great sounding title and write a story to fit it.

Q4. What are you working on for 2020?

A.  I just published a new novel titled "The Queen" and I am currently working on the third volume in my Defenders of Justice series.

Q5. How long have you been writing?

A. ) I have been writing since I was very young. Just small things; usually two or three pages, nothing like I do now. I always had a story to tell so I would often write them for my English class in school.

Q6. What advice would you give other authors?

A. Don't give up! If you have a story inside of you it's there because someone somewhere needs to hear it. No one can tell your story but you so keep writing, keep learning and never ever let them tell you that you're not good enough. One day you will be someone's favorite Author but only if you keep trying!

Q7.where can people find you online?

A. I am on Facebook and Instagram.

Or

Q8. Do you plan on making more books in the future?

A. Absolutely! I have a list of future novels I plan to write.

Q9. How many books have you written?

A.  I have written four. Three novels and one Bible Study/Devotional. I am currently working on my fourth and fifth novels.

Q10 did you go to college to be a writer?

A.  No. Actually, I have my degree in Surgical Technology, which I did for a number of years. I can go from cute to saving your life in two seconds flat.
