A. I have been married for 27 years and counting. My husband and I have three sons who are 25, 22, and 16. I am a former Paraeducator of seven years. I loved working with my students and tried to instill a love of reading in them. Before that, I was a Preschool teacher at a private daycare.

Q3. Do you like coffee or tea?

A. I am a tea drinker. It’s not a pretty sight when I drink coffee. I am like the squirrel on Hoodwinked or Over The Hedge on coffee. I can not sit still.

Q4. How many books have you written?

A. Technically I have written three books. The first one in high school is somewhere in a notebook in my closet. It was titled Love is War.

The second book I wrote is my first published novel. The Lyons Garden Book One Family Ties. It was awarded The New York Best Sellers Gold Award in December of 2021.

In this book set in Southeastern, Ct. and Long Island, NY, Jessica Greenhall loses her adoptive parents tragically. This compelled her to search for her biological family. When her career as a nature photographer collides with her search, fatalistic events occur. Will she survive the journey? One thing is certain, her life will never be the same.

In my third book, I just finished my third round of edits and revealed the cover on all my social media accounts. Erasing Secrets The Lyons Garden Book Two. It should be out in the next few weeks.

This thrilling suspenseful mystery is the second book in The Lyons Garden series. Someone knows all the Gardiner family secrets and that someone will kill to reveal them.

Jimmy Driscoll must keep the Gardiner family safe as well as his own secrets. Fearing his past may be repeating itself, he is headed for another psychotic break.  Will his troubles cause heartache for them all?

A. My favorite bookstores would be the local stores that carry my book. No Other Book Like This in Groton, Ct. and The Book Barn in Niantic, Ct.

Q6. Did you go to college for writing?

A. Many moons ago, I went to college and majored in English with a minor in mass communications. Long story, short, I never finished that degree. However, I did graduate in 2013 with an Associates's Degree in Early Childhood Education and in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and Human Development. In the course of my college education, I took many different English, writing, and literature courses.

Growing up What were your favorite books to read?

I have many favorite books as a child. The Little House on The Prairie series sticks out as one of my favorite.

Q7. How did you get inspired to write a book?

A. I have been a voracious reader since childhood. In middle school, I started to write short stories and poetry. It has always been a dream to publish my creations.
My current series The Lyons Garden was inspired by my own genealogy research. I found a family member that has possible connections to Gardiners Island. The island itself intrigued me and it set my imagination in motion. I started the first book in the series in 2017. I finished it in September 2021 and self-published it because the pandemic taught me life is way too short to wait to accomplish your dreams.
The outpouring of support for my book and my writing has been a humbling experience. The fact that so many people have enjoyed my book inspires me to keep writing more.

Q8. What hobbies do you have?

A. My hobbies are reading, baking, photography, gardening, camping, crafting with my Cricut, rock painting, and spending time with family and friends.

Interviewing Author Grahame Peace Q1. Tell me about yourself what are your favorite books to read? A. I’m 61 years of age and was born in the Northern Textile Town of Huddersfield in England where I still live with my partner. I like many genres of books, but I don’t like anything too dark; before I retired I worked for many years in Mental Health Services in the UK, so I had more than my fill of ‘life’, and the ups and downs it can throw at people. So, I tend to go for books that offer escapism, I also like history, autobiographies, and biographies. At the moment I’m enjoying the fictional book ‘The Haunting of Ashburn House by Darcy Coates. I say I’m retired, but I now consider myself to be an author, I treat it as a full-time job, working on my books for several hours most days. Q2. when did you decide you were going to write a book? A. I retired from my job with the National Health Service in the UK nearly five years ago now; I’d already started my first book by th

Interview Author Gabriella Messina Q1. Tell me about yourself what are your favorite books to read?  A.  I’ve found that, as I continue to grow as a writer, I’ve grown more selective as a reader. I tend to choose books from the same genres that I write… mysteries, historical fiction, fantasy… and I gravitate back to older books more than newer. I like stories that move at a good, steady pace, almost like a well-made film; that isn’t preachy, but still, give you something to think about; and that have well-developed characters that act like real people.  Q2.when did you decide you were going to write a book? I’d been  A.writing screenplays since the early 2000s and I’d gotten some notice for them, but getting into that industry is notoriously difficult and expensive. Then I learned about the rise of indie publishing, KDP and such, and decided to try adapting the stories into novels. Q3. How did you come up with the name of your books?  A. Poetry, songs,

Interviewing Author Shannon Taylor Vannatter Q1. Tell us about yourself. What are your favorite books to read? A. I started reading clean romance when I was fourteen. I married my high school sweetheart and worked as a hairdresser for ten years. Once insurance became important, I went to work at a bank and the corporate offices of a large fragrance company. After our son was born, I became a stay at home mom. I love reading Christian Contemporary Romance. Q2. Where did the inspiration to write come from? A. There came a time when I couldn’t find anything clean anymore when I was in my early thirties, so I decided to write what I wanted to read. My characters kept praying and talking to God and I realized I was writing Christian romance instead of merely clean. It took me nine and a half years to get published. Q3. How did you come up with the titles of your books? A. I start with a working title that fits the theme of the book. Sometimes, I change it as
