Interviewing Author Tammy Thompson Q1. Tell me about yourself what are your favorite books to read?  A. I read a ton of Andrew Wommack books for growing my relationship with God as well as the Bible on a daily basis. I also invest in reading marketing books to learn how to get my books in the hands of those looking for my book. In between all that I enjoy reading sweet, uplifting stories. Q2. When did you decide you were going to write a book?  A. In 2017 the story started to live in my head and develop. My youngest son had suffered nightmares for years and every night he would pray and ask God to have only good dreams and no bad dreams. So I started to wonder what a place like that would be like. A place children who suffered from chronic nightmares could escape to, someplace safe and full of hope. That is how the story began.  Q3. How did you come up with name of your books?  A. The Land of Good Dreams is the name of the first book and also th

In  between writing and spending time with my family, I read, embroider, garden, and teach small children at church. I prefer walking over bicycles or cars, because my feet are less scary. (If I walk, I can read at the same time, which is a nice bonus.) I read a wide variety of books, but about 40% of them end up being fantasy. I've put a ton of favorite-book-recommendations on my blog at mcleebooks.com. Q2.when did you decide you where going to write a book? A.  I wrote stories for most of my life, but never took them seriously until my daughter asked me to write a particular story for her. I plotted a six-chapter short story, which grew into an entire novel and then expanded to a series. Q3. How did you come up with name of your books?  A. Blood, sweat, and tears. Titles are hard! I try to find something that has two meanings. For

Interviewing Author Cameron J Quinn

Q1. Tell me about yourself what are your favorite books to read? A. I’m Cameron J Quinn, award-winning author of The Starsboro Chronicles, a supernatural suspense serial. I grew up watching my mom write children’s books. Back then you needed an agent and a book deal or a lot of money to publish yourself. We were far from well off so her books never came to be. Still, she inspired me to read and write. I love books, like all of them. I’m currently on a suspense kick. How have I never read a Mary Higgins Clark before last week? I also enjoy supernatural elements in stories and a good love story, Happily Ever After not required but appreciated. A few of my favorites over the years are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Dance with the Devil by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and The Lucky One by Nicolas Sparks.  When I’m not reading, writing, or working with authors, I’m wrangling three kids and trying to keep our house functioning. Q2. When did you decide you were going to writ
