My Great Grandmas Apple Cake Recipe. 


My Great Grandma Loved this recipe she always made it around the fall time when she came to visit use in Ohio.

I Remember standing in my grandmas kitchen and she would make this for us I miss my great grandma and her visits every year in are little home town in Ohio. 

Here is the recipe for my Great grandmas apple cake that is perfect for the fall.

You will need 

4 cups of apples.
1 tsp of salt
2 tsp vanilla extract 
2 cups of sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup of chopped nuts
2 cups of flour 
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 vegetable oil

Instructions 

Mix Apples and sugar in a large bowl. Let stand for a few minutes.
shift dry ingredients mix with apples.
add the eggs oil and vanilla add chopped nuts.
pour into greased 9 by 13 pan.  bake for  50 minutes set oven to 350 oven.

let cool and enjoy I heard this also taste great with whipped cream on top.

Independent book review: Froggy Learns to Swim by Jonathan Landon and Illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz  The Froggy series has always been my favorite book ever since I was little too. My favorite book from the series is Froggy Bakes a Cake when my sisters and I were little we enjoyed reading this to our mom.  The Froggy book series is great for ages 2-4 years. This is a great book to add to your children's summer reading list. When I was a kindergarten teacher aide I enjoyed reading to the child This is a book that I would love  to read to them. The author did an amazing job on this book;  The illustrations in this book are so cute and exquisite.  This is a book I had on my bookshelf that love and thought I would do an independent review on it.
