Book Review He Whistles For The Cricket By author Gwen Walker and Jenelle Leanne

This was such a cute book I like how it had a Christian theme to it this was a very heartwarming story that had a lot of meaning to it like friends come in all ages.

There are 150 pages this makes a great middle school book for ages 10-18 years middle schooler with love this book.

This is a wonderful small-town story about a dog, A young girl, and a small town that always comes together to help one another it will melt your heart as all the characters in the story come together.

I love the relationship between the character and her dog. This is a good clean story that has much love in a community.

This book is also a wonderful story about friendship love a caring community and honor and youth.

I liked the story because it touched my heart about a young girl and how much she loved her Dog her community and friends she found friends of any age and it really is a sweet and unique story.

I would recommend this book to anyone of any age it is just too sweet not to share and it would make a great book to add to your reading list.

  1. Thank you for the great review of my mom's book. Yes, she would have been thrilled about your review.
Something you probably don't know, is there is some truth to the characters and happenings in the book. I'm chapter 10 I think. About someone losing a finger. Might be chapter 11. Also. 2 of the main characters , Mrs. Jordan and Mr. Johnson were actually 2 of her best friends and colleagues while Mom was a high school math teacher. I was in Jr. High when she started her book. I was 2 years out of high school when I realized she had written it. It was never published, although mom tries several times sending it to different publishers. It was janelle, my niece, that had it printed. It one of the best days for our family when she gave each one of us a copy.
    Thank you again.
Sincerely, Rob Walker (son of Gwen Walker)
